It shouldn't be that difficult and it isn't. The sound is just fine--much better than an FM transmitter we used in the past. This works great. We used it to connect an iPod to my wife's car stereo.
I have a sony x-plod cass.player in my car and have had no problems with the auto reverse or auto play. This cassette adapter works great just as it is advertised. Sound quality is better than any cassettes played in the player.
The sound is a little muddy, like a cassette tape, and not as good as an AUX input, but it does the job. This device worked as advertised. I hear it is light years above an RF adapter.
i'm so happy they still make these. thanks for allowing me my music while driving. i needed to replace my old adapter so i can listen to my ipod in my car. it works like a charm (i said that before, i know) and the price was right.
it all depends on weather what it is.I tested it out on some vehicles only 1 has clicking noise (2000 Toyota camry) everything else nope.Buts alright ON SOME CARS, it might have a clicking noise. Well i just realized that every cassete mp3 player are all the same. Sony, maxwell, phillips. and some cars do not.
